EAA Runway 5K Charity Run/Walk
Saturday, July 27 at 7 a.m.
Lace up your running shoes and get your day started on the right (and left) foot for a good cause at the Runway 5K Charity Run/Walk!
Participants of all ages will run or walk the unique, aircraft-lined, 3.1-mile route around the convention grounds.
Proceeds will support the Oshkosh Fire Department’s upgrading of jaws extrication equipment.
The 15th annual Runway 5K will be held Saturday, July 27 during AirVenture Oshkosh 2019. The race kicks off at 7:00 a.m. and encourages everyone, including walkers, first-time runners, and seasoned athletes, to participate.
The route will take you through a tour of the AirVenture campus, past incredible aircraft that has traveled the world, and aviation exhibits of all sizes. When you cross the finish line, you’ll realize that you’ll never run another 5K quite like this one again.
You do not need an AirVenture pass to participate in the race, but we invite you to stay the entirety of the day and explore everything that AirVenture has to offer. Shower facilities are available on our grounds. Gear Check closes at 9:30am. If anything at Gear Check is left behind after that time, they will be given to the main Lost & Found, which is located behind the Sky Shoppe.

Parking and Shuttle Service
Free Parking is available at the Golden Lot. There is no cost to park at Golden Lot the morning of the race. Let any attendant know that you’re participating in the race. Participants are encouraged to carpool.
EAA AirVenture Shuttle Service begins at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Race kicks off at 7:00 a.m.
Please note that registrants must begin the race by 7:30 a.m. and the route will close at 9:30 a.m.
