Many customers are now seeing services come back online. Restoration at this scale doesn’t happen all at once, and some disruptions may still occur as systems stabilize. While we’re working hard to minimize those, this is a normal part of the process. Real progress is being made every day and full restoration could happen at any time.
Cellcom reaffirms CEO message and shares key service info
Earlier this week, Cellcom confirmed that a cyber incident was responsible for the widespread disruption of its cellular phone and text services, which began last Wednesday.
However, the company has not released details about the nature of the attack or how its systems were compromised.
While service has been partially restored, many customers say they are still unable to make calls, more than a week after the outage began.
