OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – Things were off to a cheerful start at Vel Phillips Middle School as officers prepared for the “Lemonade With The Law” event, a refreshing and friendly way to bring students, staff, and local law enforcement together over a glass of lemonade.
The event is part of a continued effort to build positive relationships between students and officers as the school year winds down.

A special thank you went out to the Oshkosh West Wildcat Cafe for their generous donation of a brand-new lemonade dispenser, which will help make future events like this more enjoyable for everyone involved.
Before the school day began, officers were stationed outside the building, spending about half an hour connecting with students and getting ready to help close out the academic year with community spirit and support.
It was a small moment, but one that left a big impression, showing how a simple cup of lemonade can bring people together in meaningful ways.
