The Latest from Storm Team 5…
An AIR QUALITY ALERT has been issued for Langlade county and off into the U.P. through midnight tonight as wildfire smoke that has primarily been in the upper levels today has begun mixing down to the surface. Those that are sensitive should limit time outdoors. Even if you are not in this advisory, I would still take it easy outdoors.

Its going to be quite the warm night out there with low temperatures in the middle to upper 60s courtesy of a breezy SW wind. Skies will stay mostly clear to at worst partly cloudy.
Tomorrow begins with a mixture of sun and clouds, with clouds steadily increasing throughout the day. Our next weather maker arrives bringing widespread rain with embedded thunderstorms for the afternoon lasting into the overnight. Low end severe risk, but a few storms could produce hail up to 1″ and gusty winds. Total rain amounts will range between 0.75″ to almost 1.5″.

Highs tomorrow will be mild once again in the middle 80s, paired with muggy dew points in the 60s and breezy southwest wind that could top 30mph. Wildfire smoke looks to stay elevated tomorrow.
Holding a chance for an early shower, otherwise morning clouds for Wednesday give way to afternoon sunshine, temperature fall into the upper 70s. It appears the wildfire smoke may return to the surface once again.
