The Latest from Storm Team…
The 80s have returned for a second day in a row here in northeast Wisconsin, however the main difference out there today was that dew points spiked into the mid 60s, making it feel sticky and providing the fuel needed for thunderstorms.
A few strong storms are possible this evening bringing with it a small hail and gusty wind threat, but widespread severe weather is not expected. Total rain amounts between 0.5″ to 1.5″, and if a community sees multiple downpours, totals could push 2″.
Overnight expect cloud skies with a few showers passing by. Lows will fall into the middle 50s.
Tomorrow with start with a few showers lakeside and cloudy skies, but we quickly clear the clouds and get into sunshine late morning and through the afternoon. Highs will reach the middle 70s tomorrow and the humidity will exit.
However, wildfire smoke is expected to return to the area once again and likely mix to the surface. An AIR QUALITY ALERT has been issued statewide until noon Wednesday, it will likely get extended past that point.

Thursday brings increasing clouds with temperatures around 80. Looks like the rain should hold off until the overnight hours of Friday. Next chance of rain looks to be on Sunday going into Monday.
