PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, Wis. (WFRV) – A registered lifetime sex offender in Wisconsin was arrested in early June after he allegedly lured a 14-year-old into the back of his van, authorities say.
According to a release from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, 48-year-old Shawn Levock from Prairie du Chien lured a 14-year-old into the back of a van on June 1 with the intent of engaging in sexual acts.

Officials say that before anything happened between Levock and the juvenile, the 14-year-old had exited the van without being physically or sexually abused.
Levock is already a registered lifetime sex offender, and he was arrested and taken to the Crawford County Jail, where he is being held on a $50,000 cash bond for a charge of child enticement.
