RUSK COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – A 45-year-old Wisconsin man arrested for 1st Degree Sexual Assault of a Child under the age of 13 has officially been found guilty.

According to a release from the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office, 45-year-old Adam Barnett from Conrath was found guilty of the charge following a three-day jury trial.
Following the jury trial, Barnett was remanded to the Rusk County Jail, where he will await his sentencing hearing scheduled for September 12.
The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office and the Rusk County District Attorney’s Office are committed to justice and closure for victims of sexual violence.
