(WFRV) – Retired Green Bay Packer and Packers’ Hall of Fame member, Gilbert “The Gravedigger” Brown, is expected to spend the summer visiting campgrounds throughout the Badger State to help raise money for children’s charities.
According to a release from the Wisconsin Association of Campground Owners, Brown will be making stops all summer long into the fall at more than a dozen campgrounds throughout Wisconsin.
Through the ‘Gilbert Brown Foundation,’ “The Gravedigger” intends to use the appearances, which could feature some former Packers teammates, to raise money for children’s charities.
It’s our fundraising events that help us generate the resources we need to make a difference in the lives of children who need help.
