“After 27 wonderful years, Bake My Day will be closing its doors today. It has been an incredible journey, and we are deeply grateful for your support and love over the years,” Katie states in the post. “For the past 7 years, I have had the privilege of running the bakery, following in my mother’s footsteps. Her creativity and passion for baking have been the heart and soul of Bake My Day, and it has been a labor of love to continue her legacy.”
Katie’s mother, Joan Mitchell, opened Bake My Day in 1999 after spending decades baking cakes for the Green Bay community.

Bake My Day has been more than just a business; it has been a place where we’ve shared our love for cakes, cupcakes, pies during Thanksgiving, and cookies at Christmas. We’ve cherished every moment, from the early mornings spent baking to the smiles on your faces when you tried our special treats. Today, as we open for the very last time, we invite you to join us in saying goodbye. We’ll have plenty of cupcakes and other treats available, and we hope you can stop by to enjoy one last visit and create one more beautiful memory together. Thank you for being such an amazing community. Your kindness and support have meant the world to us. With love and appreciation, Katie.
