OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – A 51-year-old Oshkosh man will spend six years in federal prison after being sentenced on Monday by Senior United States District Judge William C. Griesbach for multiple drug charges.
Acting U.S. Attorney Richard G. Frohling of the Eastern District of Wisconsin announced that Peter Henkle’s sentence stems from an August 2024 investigation by the Oshkosh Police Department.

According to the release, investigators uncovered over 950 grams of cocaine, over 7.5 pounds of marijuana and $321,880 in cash during a search warrant in August 2024. Authorities also obtained orders to seize money from Henkle’s bank accounts and multiple vehicles purchased with drug money.
Henkle admitted that he obtained and distributed multiple kilograms of cocaine across roughly two years. Judge Griesbach also ruled that Henkle must forfeit $579,207 to the government, along with two Harley-Davidson motorcycles, a 2019 Dodge Challenger and a 2020 Ford F250.

Henkle also must pay a fine of $50,000 as a result of the conviction and sentencing.
