(WFRV) – Chuck E. Cheese is leveling up. The iconic family entertainment brand known for pizza parties and animated stage shows is launching a new standalone arcade concept aimed at longtime fans and adult gamers.
Called Chuck’s Arcade, the new brand brings together the best of both worlds: a modern lineup of cutting-edge games and immersive experiences paired with a carefully curated collection of retro classics like Ms. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Galaga. The concept is a throwback to the arcade’s golden age, built for a new generation but steeped in nostalgia.

“Chuck E. Cheese has spent decades mastering the arcade experience. It’s in our DNA,” said CEO David McKillips. “Chuck’s Arcade is a natural evolution. It’s an opportunity to extend our arcade legacy into new formats that engage both lifelong fans and a new generation.”
Chuck’s Arcade locations are now open in major malls across the country. These include spots in Florida, Oklahoma, Georgia, New York, Texas, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Missouri. Each location is designed with a unique game lineup and environment, meaning no two arcades are exactly alike. A flagship version in Kansas City, Missouri, also features a pizzeria and original Chuck E. Cheese artwork chronicling the brand’s history.
The arcades are overseen by animatronic characters from the classic Munch’s Make Believe Band. These figures offer a subtle nod to Chuck E. Cheese’s stage show roots. While the focus is now on digital entertainment, the brand’s legacy characters remain part of the experience visually and nostalgically.
Chuck’s Arcade is not just an expansion. It’s a reinvention. From racing simulators and VR shooters to classics like Mortal Kombat and Centipede, each arcade serves up a curated mix of new and old. Exclusive merchandise, including vintage logo apparel and collectible toys, rounds out the offerings.
