OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – A person is dead after an apparent drug overdose Thursday morning in Winnebago County, according to the sheriff’s office.
Authorities say deputies responded just after 7:30 a.m. to a report of an unresponsive individual in the Town of Algoma. Despite lifesaving efforts by first responders, the person was pronounced dead at the scene.

As part of the investigation, detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1200 block of Titan Court in the City of Oshkosh. No arrests have been made, and the case remains under active investigation.
