(WFRV) – The National Weather Service of Green Bay has issued a Flood Watch as well as a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for most of northeast Wisconsin for Saturday afternoon and into the night.
The Flood Watch is in effect until later in the evening on August 9, which includes portions of central and northeast Wisconsin.
Affected northeast Wisconsin counties include:
- Brown
- Calumet
- Fond du Lac
- Green Lake
- Manitowoc
- Marquette
- Outagamie
- Sheboygan
- Waupaca
- Waushara
- Winnebago
NWS officials say that flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible with totals expected to be between 1-4 inches.
