MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WFRV) – If you grew up in Wisconsin or watched/listened to any baseball game in your life, you knew who Bob Uecker was, but you might not have known this side of him.
To honor the legendary Brewers broadcaster, the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, courtesy of Mr. Baseball’s family, is putting Uecker’s personal Harley-Davidson motorcycle on display for the next six months.

Harley-Davidson Museum and Milwaukee Experiences General Manager Amber Christopher said in a release that it’s an honor to be able to share Uecker’s love of the Wisconsin staple Harley-Davidson with a community that cherished him.
“Bob Uecker’s story is woven into the fabric of Milwaukee, and his Harley-Davidson motorcycle is a meaningful reminder of how much this city meant to him,” Christopher said in the release.
It’s not just Uecker’s motorcycle on display with the new This Is Me exhibit, which is intended to celebrate personal stories and the motorcycles that carved them.
A titan of music and the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Elvis Presley’s personal Harley-Davidson is also on display.
“Together, the motorcycles of Presley and Uecker connect two cultural icons: one a king of rock ’n’ roll, the other a voice of baseball, to the freedom and spirit of Harley-Davidson,” the Harley-Davidson museum said via a release.
