(WFRV) – The Wisconsin State Patrol needed some extra teamwork trying to make a unique rescue along a Wisconsin roadway.
According to a post on social media, troopers recently responded to reports of a horse walking along the roadway on WIS 65 in St. Croix County.

Officials say a few motorists stopped to help the troopers get the horse to safety before the troopers later safely reunited it with its owner.
A great example of how we can all do our part to make sure everyone (two- and four- legged) gets home safely!
