Snow continues to wind down Sunday morning with most location picking up between 3-6″ of snow, with locally higher amounts (7-8″) in western Manitowoc, western Sheboygan, and eastern Fond du lac counties.
A winter weather advisory is now in effect for most of NE WI for blowing and drifting snow causing slippery travel conditions.
Expect skies to start to clear Sunday afternoon with strong northerly winds gusting to 35 mph.
We will trade snow for January-like cold to open December – lows into early Monday morning will be in the single digits and wind chills will be in the single digits BELOW zero to -10!!
Even colder air will arrive Thursday with highs in the teens. No major additional snow is forecast for this week.
