WRIGHTSTOWN, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials are telling drivers in the Valley to expect delays as a crash on I-41 North has the highway backed up for over four miles.
According to a release from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the crash occurred at 5:45 a.m. on I-41 northbound at County Highway J in the Village of Wrightstown.
WisDOT officials say the crash has caused observable backups of over four miles and has closed all the lanes of I-41 North, with the closure expected to last over two hours.

Northbound drivers on I-41 are being asked to use an alternate route by exiting the highway and continuing north on County Highway J before heading east on County Highway S and then getting back onto I-41 North.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office is currently on the scene working to clear the crash. No other information is available. Local Five will update this story as additional details are released.
