WRIGHTSTOWN, Wis. (WFRV) – WisDOT officials have provided an update on the closure of I-41 north in Wrightstown after an early morning crash and barrier repairs, saying lanes have reopened.
The closure of I-41 north between WIS 55 and County S is back open, authorities stated.
The repair of a temporary barrier wall was expected to take until roughly noon, but has been completed roughly an hour and a half ahead of schedule.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2025 – 10:06 a.m.
WRIGHTSTOWN, Wis. (WFRV) – Following an early Wednesday morning crash on I-41 northbound in Outagamie County, the interstate will remain closed until noon as crews work to repair a barrier wall.
According to a release from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the crash occurred at 5:45 a.m. on I-41 northbound at County Highway J in the Village of Wrightstown.

WisDOT has stated that I-41 north between WIS 55 and County S will remain closed until around noon on December 3 as crews work to repair the temporary barrier wall damaged in the crash.
For a detour, northbound traffic will exit at WIS 55, go north to County S, then east until drivers get back on I-41.
