MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – Four Wisconsin adults have been charged with felonies relating to graffiti incidents that occurred on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus over the past 18 months.

According to the UW-Madison Police Department, officials have been investigating the incidents since they began, and four individuals, all from Madison, were charged in court this week:
- 24-year-old Zebulun Fazel
- One count—felony graffiti
- Six counts—misdemeanor graffiti
- One count—misdemeanor disorderly conduct
- One count—misdemeanor criminal damage
- 22-year-old Genevieve Karamanski
- One count—felony graffiti
- Two counts—misdemeanor graffiti
- One count—misdemeanor disorderly conduct
- 26-year-old Kareem Mayouf
- One count—felony graffiti
- Two counts—misdemeanor graffiti
- 20-year-old William Wambles
- One count—felony graffiti
- One count—misdemeanor graffiti
Authorities say none of them are currently affiliated with the University, but that they were allegedly involved in eight separate graffiti incidents on campus at several locations, including Camp Randall Stadium.
The total damage cost is estimated to be over $10,000, and authorities executed a search warrant at one of the homes connected to the suspects, recovering graffiti evidence and multiple guns, including an AR-15.

Most of the graffiti was related to the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas in the Middle East.

Officials also say that there may be additional charges, with the suspects potentially connected to off-campus graffiti.
