(WFRV) – Not long after reporting a man from central Wisconsin, authorities in Marathon County announced that a missing 80-year-old man was found safe.
The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office announced that 80-year-old Dennis Fischer has been found safe.
He was reportedly found around 8:40 p.m. Arrangements are being made for Dennis to return home.
No additional information was provided.

RINGLE, Wis. (WFRV) – A man from central Wisconsin is missing, and authorities say his vehicle was last seen in Appleton.
According to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office, it is trying to find 80-year-old Dennis Fischer. Dennis reportedly left his home around 3:30 p.m. on January 26.

The release says he could be disoriented. He is believed to be driving a white Hyundai Tucson with Wisconsin plate ‘ADK6074’.
Dennis is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing around 140 pounds with brown eyes and balding hair.
It was mentioned that he left his home wearing black jeans and an army-green veterans’ sweatshirt, a black leather Dale Earnhardt jacket, a black hat and glasses.

Authorities say his vehicle was last seen near East Wisconsin Avenue and North Ballard Road in Appleton.
