GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials with the NFL and the Green Bay Packers announced Tuesday morning that cornerback Keisean Nixon is now being named to the 2026 Pro Bowl Games.
This is said to be Nixon’s first career Pro Bowl selection despite earning first-team All-Pro honors as a kick returner from The Associated Press in 2022-23.
Over the course of this past season, Nixon started a career-high 17 games for the Green and Gold, finishing second on the team with 72 total tackles. He also recorded three tackles for a loss, an interception, a fumble recovery, and a career-high 17 passes defended, the ost by a Packer in a season since Jaire Alexander’s 17 passes defended in 2019.

Nixon, who signed with Green Bay as a free agent following three seasons with the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders, is the only cornerback in the league to appear in all 17 games and nab at least one interception in each of the last four seasons (2022-25).
The addition of Nixon comes as a replacement to Seattle cornerback Devon Witherspoon, who made the Super Bowl and is unable to participate in the Pro Bowl Games.
Nixon joins teammate Micah Parsons, who likely will not participate due to injury, as the only two Packers named so far to this year’s Pro Bowl Games.
