According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, 911 calls came in for a loud explosion in Waupun at N3879 Center Road, as callers reportedly said it was from the wood burner on the property.
Deputies arrived and found a 12×30 shed with a wood burner, fully engulfed in flames. Additional resources were requested as the fire was severe with threats to the attached barn.
Officials extinguished the fire; however, the shed and farm equipment inside were deemed a total loss, as the barn suffered some exterior damage.
