GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – When Pat McCadden was promoted from assistant to head coach at the beginning of last season, the former Gamblers Clark Cup winner described the new role as an honor.
In his first year, Green Bay clinched a playoff spot despite late season adversity. What followed was a first round exit, but the hunger it created for the following year was inevitable.
With double digit returners, the Gamblers are only one win shy of their total number of victories from a season ago. That includes sitting in second place in the Eastern conference.
Hear from McCadden in the video above as he discusses what he learned from year one and why his second season at the helm is off to a successful start with a third of the way to go in the regular season.
