The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Cloudy skies this evening will slowly clear out tonight, leading to temperatures falling into the single digits to around teen degrees for overnigth lows. The wind will be udner 10 mph, but thats enough to make it feel like the single digits below zero to exposed skin tomorrow morning.
Besides the cold start to our day, Tuesday looks mostly sunny with highs in the upper teens to lower 20s. This is just a few degrees below our seasonal average of 26 degrees.
Temperatures will warm up a few degrees on Wednesday under a mix of sunshine and clouds as highs top out in the mid to upper 20s.
Clouds will increase overnight Wednesday ahead or our next chance for snow arriving Thursday morning. Looks like a majority of our day will be fairly quiet though with highs in the upper 20s. A second and better chance for snow arrives overnight Thursday into Friday. All told, this one will stay under 1″ of accumulations.
Highs will manage to top out around 30 degrees on Friday despite a northwest wind kicking in behind this system. Highs will cool off to around 20 on Saturday before climbing back into the upper 20s on Sunday. Looks liek we click in to a thaw & freeze pattern next week.
