ROSENDALE, Wis. (WFRV) – A suspect who fled a pursuit with Brown County deputies, striking one of their vehicles in the process, was arrested Wednesday evening in Fond du Lac County.

According to a release, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office notified Fond du Lac deputies of an attempt to locate a vehicle involved in a pursuit with a suspect who fled a traffic stop and struck an official law enforcement vehicle.
The suspect driver was wanted for felony fleeing/eluding, 1st-degree recklessly endangering safety, hit and run and for being a felon with a firearm.
A Rosendale Police Officer spotted the vehicle heading southbound in the village, following the suspect vehicle as a Fond du Lac County deputy attempted a high-risk stop. The suspect initially pulled over, but fled immediately after.
A Fond du Lac County Sergeant deployed a tire deflation device, successfully deflating two tires, and the suspect eventually came to a halt on U.S. 151 at Oak Center Road.

The driver, a 44-year-old Madison man, was arrested on numerous charges with several citations:
- Charges:
- Felony Fleeing/Eluding
- 1st-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety
- Repeater THC Possession
- Citations:
- Operating while Revoked
- Transporting Open Intoxicants
- Excessive Speeding in a 55-mile-per-hour zone (45+)
- Driver’s License Restriction Violation Class D
The passenger, identified as a 34-year-old woman from Madison, was arrested on resisting/obstruction and THC possession charges.
No injuries were reported.
