NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) – The City of Neenah is sharing statistics highlighting an increase in holiday string light recycling following the recent holiday season.
City officials say residents recycled 927 pounds of holiday string lights this season, marking a 10.8% increase compared to last year.

“That kind of follow-through doesn’t happen by accident,” city officials said in a social media post. “It reflects a community that pays attention and takes responsibility for the details.”
The city concluded by thanking residents who took the time to properly recycle their holiday lights by using designated collection bins.
