ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WFRV) – Wisconsin certainly likes its cold treats and on Thursday, one local gelato shop raised money for a good cause.
On February 12, Sara’s Artisan Gelato in Ashwaubenon offered customers a Triple Chocolate Brownie flavor, with 50% of the proceeds being donated to the Sullivan Arndt Fancy Heart Fund in order to help support heart research.
It started when their son was born with a rare heart condition – and he was treated at Children’s Wisconsin, and so this fund goes directly to Children’s Wisconsin heart research, and it supports families that are going through a similar situation.
