The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
False spring #1 headed our way as temperatures will be pushing 15 to 25 degrees above average for the next six days! Get ready for lots of sunshine and near record highs this afternoon in the middle to upper 40s. The record high is 45 degrees in Green Bay from three years ago in 2023 – it might be achieved today!
The snowpack will be decreasing rapidly in the coming days. With that being said, the moisture in the low levels of the atmosphere from evaporating water (old snow), plus mostly clear skies and calm winds tonight will mostly likely create some areas of dense fog. This will be overnight Friday night into Saturday morning.
Not only will a fog threat bring reduced visibility to anyone out and about, including sturgeon spearers, but temperatures will be in the 20s which means roads could get a bit slippery Saturday morning from “freezing fog.”
