GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (WFRV) – A teenager and juvenile in Grand Chute were arrested around noon on Friday after officers learned of a stolen vehicle in the area.
According to the Grand Chute Police Department, officers responded to the report from the 2900 block of West Spencer Street around 10:02 a.m. About two hours later, an officer noticed the stolen vehicle with two individuals inside near North Lilas Drive and West College Avenue.

The officer attempted a traffic stop, but the suspect driver ignored and fled into a nearby neighborhood, prompting a coordinated search from officers.
Officers found the vehicle abandoned, and a quick perimeter prompted a large police presence; however, the two individuals were quickly found and arrested.
An 18-year-old man was arrested on recommended charges of operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent, criminal trespassing, fleeing and resisting arrest. The juvenile will be referred for accompanying a person operating without consent, criminal trespassing and resisting arrest.
