RIDGEWAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A Wisconsin woman arrested on Wednesday night for her sixth Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) offense is accused of murdering her husband.
According to an Iowa County Sheriff’s Office release, deputies responded to a home on Collins Street in Ridgeway around 11:20 a.m. on Thursday for a welfare check.

Officials found a dead man inside, identified as 62-year-old Todd Nechkash Sr., who was the only person home and is the homeowner. Nechkash Sr.’s death has been deemed a homicide.
The night before, officers arrested Kelli Nechkash, Todd’s wife, for her sixth OWI following a crash. Further investigation identified Kelli as a suspect in Todd’s death.
According to the release, the two are married but lived separately. Officials are still investigating, but say the incident appears to be isolated.
