OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – An Oshkosh resident was rescued by officers and a neighbor during a house fire on Friday afternoon.
According to the Oshkosh Fire Department, crews responded to reports of a fire on the 4400 block of Island View Drive around 3:20 p.m.
It was initially reported that a resident was not able to get out of the home. An officer with the Oshkosh Police Department and a neighbor reportedly worked together to help rescue the resident.

Authorities say the fire started in the home’s garage and caused an estimated $150,000 in damages.
No injuries were reported.
