MENOMONIE, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin say they have identified a suspect in a series of incidents involving vehicles being struck by objects along State Highway 25 near Menomonie.
Over the past several months, the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office has received numerous reports from drivers traveling north and south of Menomonie on STH 25 who said their vehicles were struck by a water bottle or other unknown object, causing damage.

Authorities believe additional incidents may have occurred but were not reported.
Investigators said they developed information on a suspect vehicle believed to be involved and have since identified the operator.

Anyone who experienced a similar incident that has not yet been reported is asked to contact the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation remains ongoing.
