ASHIPPUN, Wis. (WFRV) – A 41-year-old Wisconsin man is now said to be facing possible life-threatening injuries following a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning.
According to a release from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at 6:55 a.m. to reports of a crash on County Highway P near Harding Road in the Town of Ashippun.
Officials say a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado was heading south on County Highway P when it entered into the paved shoulder and hit the guardrail on the passenger side.

After driving against the guardrail for a short distance, the truck began spinning counterclockwise across both lanes of traffic before going into a ditch, vaulting over a driveway, and landing on a steep slope, where it then crashed into a tree.
The driver, identified as a 41-year-old man from Oconomowoc, suffered possible life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Aurora Summit Hospital. No one else was in the truck at the time of the crash.
At this time, no other details are available, and the name of the driver is being withheld pending the family notification.
