(WFRV) – Authorities in Door County say they are warning the public about a recent scam involving DoorDash.
According to a release from the Door County Sheriff’s Office, multiple reports have come in of attempted fraud with scammers posing as DoorDash suuport.

Officials say drivers for DoorDash have been receiving phone calls from someone claiming to be with DoorDash support and asking the drivers to verify their login, credentials, direct deposit account information, and other sensitive personal details
DoorDash is said to be aware of the scam calls, and deputies report that there have been no reports of fraud from DoorDash customers in the area.
Drivers and customers are asked to remember the following regarding potential scammers:
- Do not provide login credentials or banking information over the phone.
- Be cautious of unsolicited calls requesting personal or financial information.
- When in doubt, contact DoorDash directly through their official app or website.
Anyone with any questions, concerns, or beliefs that they may have fallen victim to fraud is asked to contact the sheriff’s office.
