(WFRV) – Robert Chilcote, 29, waived extradition and will be brought to Wisconsin from Minnesota after officially being charged with intentional homicide for the death of his 24-year-old girlfriend in Marinette.

According to the District Attorney in Wright County, Minnesota, Chilcote waived extradition on Friday, and he will be brought to Wisconsin to face homicide charges in the death of Gabriella Cartagena.

Gabriella was last seen on February 4 and her body was found on February 10.
According to the criminal complaint, both Robert and Gabriella worked together and were in a relationship. Chilcote allegedly then went to work after dragging Cartagena’s body into the woods.
Details on when Chilcote will be extradited are not currently known.
