(WFRV) – Officials with the Green Bay Police Department say the results from the second Seat Belt Task Force deployment this month throughout Brown County are in.
According to a release, after first being deployed on February 5, the Seat Belt Task Force was deployed again on Thursday, February 19, once again resulting in several stops, citations, and an arrest.
The following number of stops, citations, warnings, and arrests were said to be made during the most recent Seat Belt Task Force’s deployment:
- Total stops – 48
- Seat belt citations – 26
- Seat belt warnings – 4
- Other citations – 24
- Other warnings – 25
- Warrant arrest – 1
Officials say the other citations and warnings were given out for speeding, registration, and equipment, with these stops leading to the mentioned warrant arrest.

In total, between the two Seat Belt Task Force deployments in February, 111 total stops were made with 49 seat belt citations, 8 seat belt warnings, 68 other citations, and 64 other warnings being issued. The two deployments also led to 4 warrant arrests.
