APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – The search for identifying the person responsible for an early morning damage complaint in Appleton on Sunday is over after police say he turned himself in.

While it is not confirmed what was damaged in the incident, the incident did occur in the same area where some ice sculptures were put out on display Saturday, as College Avenue became the Avenue of Ice.

Officials with the nonprofit organization add that the person who damaged their ice sculpture was caught on camera picking up the platform and throwing it on the ground before taking a photo with another ice sculpture.
Police say the person believed to be responsible for the reported damage complaint in the area turned themselves in to police on Monday.
