LAS VEGAS, Nv. (KTAL/KMSS) – Over 10 years since last stepping in the ring together, Netflix has announced the long-awaited rematch of Floyd Mayweather versus Manny Pacquiao.

Back in May of 2015, many called the highly anticipated faceoff “The Fight of the Century”.
Then, at age 38, Floyd Mayweather took home the win in an unanimous decision by judges. Now, at age 48, with Pacquiao now 47, the two are set to face each other once again at the end of the year.
Many ran to the comment section of Netflix’s online post with the announcement to question if the fight is still worth it.
While some are excited for the match, others question if the time is right.
One Facebook user stating “Mayweather is going to school him for seven rounds again.”
Another “Both of them are almost 50 years old. What kind of fight is it gonna be?”
The post instantly shot up to over 10k shares in an hour with nearly 3k comments at the time of this article.
The fight is set to take place as the first-ever boxing match in the Las Vegas Sphere on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
