The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Good morning and happy first day of March and the bgeinning of meteorlogical Spring. Certainly not feeling like spring today with highs reaching the upper 20s to low 30s as the sun emerges out of the morning clouds.
Tonight will be mostly clear and temperatures will be cool but not bitterly cold, falling into the teens overnight. The exception is up north where we could have single digit lows.
Monday is looking great under mostly sunny skies, but a wind will pick up out of the southwest gusting to near 25mph, and that will boost temperatures into the upper 30s and low 40s for the afternoon.
Cloudy skies are in the forecast for Tuesday and models are picking up on a chance for a light wintry mix over to rain for Tuesday morning. Highs will still hit the 40s in the afternoon.
It will be a mild first week of March, but also an active one as well as we are tracking a few rounds of rain this week. The first will be Wednesday but a better chance arrives Thursday night into Friday!
