The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
Patchy fog will be noted Wednesday morning, especially in low-lying areas, but that should burn off rather quickly with sunshine and rapidly warming temperatures! It’s going to feel really nice again with spring-like highs in the middle 50s away from the lake. Mid to upper 40s next to Lake Michigan. One thing to consider is that we are very close to our record high on March 4th, and that is 58 degrees from 2024!
Clouds thicken Thursday as we will get a small chance for light rain or sprinkles. This chance for rain will not be widespread and for everyone, mainly impacting our southern and lakeshore counties. A few sprinkles could be noted elsewhere at night.
The best rain chances this week will be Friday afternoon and night! If you didn’t hear thunder for the first time this year a few weeks back, you’ll likely here some grumbles later this week. Severe weather shouldn’t be a concern locally, but a few strong storms with wind and hail could enter far southern Wisconsin. Rain totals could range from 0.5″ to 1.5″ of liquid precipitation by early Saturday morning.
