The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
There are two things that will drop temperatures Thursday… clouds will take away that beautiful sunshine, and northeast winds from 5 to 15 miles per hour. We will go from a high of 55 degrees on Wednesday to a high of 44 degrees this afternoon. Keep in mind that our average is 36 degrees, so that’s not bad!
Clouds will thicken up in the morning, and there may be some sprinkles or isolated light rain showers under the clouds today and tonight. Overall rain chances are low since the coverage is small, and not umbrella worthy.
You’ll want the umbrella for Friday with a few waves of rain and thunderstorms. The first wave will be late morning and afternoon, but it doesn’t rain all day. There could be a break in the rain for the early evening, then more thunderstorms will develop Friday night into early Saturday morning. Heavy rain is the main threat with any storms, however, there is a small chance for the storms to produce hail or a brief, strong wind gust.
It should be a great weekend to get outside! Spotty rain showers will depart through the morning Saturday, then skies should clear out for sunshine later in the day. Sunday will be windy but warmer! Daylight Saving Time starts again Sunday at 2:00am, leaving us with a new sunset of 6:49pm Sunday evening.
