GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Metro Fire Department has provided details on the fire earlier on Friday at a Green Bay art studio, saying it caused roughly $80,000 in damage.
GBMFD’srelease states that crews were called to Urban Cultural Arts around 7:55 a.m. for reports of a fire. Urban Cultural Arts is located on East Walnut Street.
Crews arrived to find smoke filling the building and coming from the roof. The fire was quickly put out after crews found where the fire started. Crews stayed at the scene to make sure all the hot spots were put out.

The building sustained heavy smoke damage, and authorities estimated the damage to be around $80,000.
No injuries were reported, and the cause is under investigation.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – There is currently a police and firefighter presence at a Green Bay art studio on Walnut Street for a reported ‘fire call.’
Numerous squad cars and fire trucks can be seen at the scene of Urban Cultural Arts; however, little information is known at this point.

Authorities say that there are no injuries, and the fire started around 7:50 a.m.
Local 5 reached out to the Green Bay Police Department and was told that the incident is a ‘fire call’ and that GBPD is helping with traffic control.
