GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A 25-year-old Green Bay man accused of recording people outside their homes was back in court Tuesday for a status conference.
Mitchell Hurt appeared with an attorney, and his cash bond conditions were slightly modified. He is to be placed on house arrest and may leave only for mental health, medical, and treatment appointments.

According to court records, Michael Hirt appeared with his attorney and requested a bond motion. The judge denied the request, continuing his current bond conditions.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A 25-year-old Green Bay man accused of recording multiple people outside their homes was back in court for a preliminary hearing.
Court records show that Michael Hirt was in court with an attorney on Friday, April 18.
During the hearing, Hirt and his attorney waived their preliminary hearing rights and filed a waiver form with the court.
Plea negotiations were then placed on the record with the court accepting the waiver/finding probable cause and ordering the defendant to be bound over to the assigned branch.
A request for a substitution was made and on April 22, an application for a specific judge was approved, with a judge officially being assigned on April 24.
Hirt is scheduled to be back in court on May 22 at 10:30 a.m. for an arraignment.

Court records show Michael Hirt appeared for a status conference on April 1, where he and his attorney requested a change to his bond conditions. That request was denied.
Hirt is scheduled to return to court for a preliminary hearing on April 18.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A 25-year-old Green Bay man accused of recording multiple people outside their homes had his cash bond set at $75,000 during his initial court appearance on Friday.
Court records show Michael Hirt faces several felony charges, including stalking a victim under the age of 18. If he posts bond, he will be required to have no contact with the victims or their families, wear a GPS monitor, and avoid unsupervised contact with minors under 18.
Hirt is scheduled to return to court for a status conference on April 11.

Green Bay man accused of recording multiple people from outside their homes, including an 11-year-old girl

(WFRV) – A man from Brown County was charged with multiple counts of stalking and invasion of privacy after allegedly videotaping people through windows.
According to a criminal complaint obtained by Local 5, 25-year-old Mitchell Hirt is facing eight charges related to stalking and videotaping people from outside their homes. On March 3, around 8:30 p.m., the Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious person in Suamico.
The complaint says a woman was sitting in her room when she saw someone outside her window recording her. A description of the suspect was given, and authorities contacted someone near the residence who matched the description.
Wisconsin man arrested in drug bust during traffic stop
The suspect was later identified as Hirt, and he told authorities that he is not from the area but chose to drive there to walk. He reportedly admitted to recording the woman in her bedroom.
A few days later, on March 6, authorities reviewed Hirt’s phone and found multiple videos of an 11-year-old girl recorded from outside a window. The videos were taken on four different days, according to the complaint.
When authorities later interviewed Hirt, he reportedly admitted that he was there to film the girl and knew she was underage. The complaint says that Hirt told authorities he has a pornography addiction and specifically mentioned the kind where people videotape others from outside their residence.
Hirt reportedly admitted to videotaping several people without their knowledge and said he started doing it in early November 2024. Other videos were found on the phone, and authorities did not identify where they were taken at the time of this article.
