ROCK, Wis. (WFRV) – A 44-year-old Janesville man was arrested early Sunday morning after authorities executed a search warrant and seized a large quantity of narcotics, cash and firearms.
According to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 1:30 a.m. to the 5300 block of South Baxter Lane in the Town of Rock.

Upon arrival, deputies secured the residence and observed evidence of narcotics inside. A search warrant was obtained and executed.
Authorities reported seizing more than 77 grams of cocaine, more than 20 grams of cocaine base, more than 617 grams of THC, and more than 30 grams of psilocybin. Deputies also recovered nearly $40,000 in cash, three firearms and body armor.

Benjamin B. Puentes, 44, of Janesville, was taken into custody and transported to the Rock County Jail. He is expected to make his initial court appearance Tuesday.
The investigation remains ongoing.
