GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – After a short two-year stint backing up Jordan Love in Green Bay, the now former Packers quarterback, Malik Willis, is reuniting with former members of the Packers staff by signing with the Miami Dolphins.
As first reported by the NFL’s Ian Rapoport, Malik Willis and the Miami Dolphins have reportedly agreed to a 3-year, $67.5 million deal with $45 million fully guaranteed.
Malik played in 7 games for the Packers, making two starts in his first season with the team in 2024. He then played in four games for Green Bay in 2025, but it was his one start in week 17 in a game against the Baltimore Ravens that really got the football world talking.

In what was a 41-24 loss, Willis shone throughout the game, showing off his talent with both his arms and his legs, finishing the game with 288 passing yards, 1 passing touchdown, 60 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns, and a quarterback rating of 134.6.
Willis now reunites with the Packers’ former defensive coordinator, Jeff Hafley, who was named the Dolphins’ Head Coach in January, and former Packers’ Vice President of Player Personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan, who was also hired in January as the Dolphins’ new General Manager.
