GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – While the new year in the NFL doesn’t officially start until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the ‘legal tampering’ period began at 11:00 a.m. Monday morning, and players are already finding new REPORTED homes.
For the Green Bay Packers, they entered the 2026 offseason with 9 Unrestricted Free Agents (UFA: players who are free to negotiate/sign with any team), 8 Restricted Free Agents (RFA: players who are free to negotiate/sign with any team, but the Packers can give a qualifying offer), and 4 Exclusive Rights Free Agents (ERFA: If Packers off a 1 year deal at league minimum, the player cannot negotiate with other teams).
