A health expert told Local Five that part of the cause of the continuing decline in vaccination rates among children is misinformation and pandemic-era disruptions.
What we know is, we put all these series together, we measure them from one year to the next, we have that comparison, and for this year, while nearly 7 out of every 10 children had the recommended vaccines in this series by 24 months of age. We know that 3 out of kids did not. That’s been a decline of almost 2% compared to the previous year.
