(WFRV) – Authorities in Marinette County say they are opening up warming centers throughout the county to those who have lost heat and/or power due to the ongoing snowstorm.
According to the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, a significant amount of snowfall is being seen throughout the county, with officials asking residents to remain safe and stay at home, if able, in an attempt to avoid any unnecessary travel.

Officials say warming centers are being opened up and offered to those who have lost heat or power as a temporary place to warm up and charge any essential electronic devices.
The following locations can have space made available by calling the specific warming center:

Officials with the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office are reminding residents that these are warming centers and not warming shelters.
Food, water, cots, and sleeping accommodations will not be provided, and no one should plan to stay at any of the listed locations overnigh
