The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
A BLIZZARD WARNING remains in effect for all northeast Wisconsin counties until 4pm. A Blizzard Warning is issued when the combination of fast-falling snow and blustery winds will create near whiteout conditions, or visibility less than a quarter mile for more than three hours. Winds are expected to gust between 40 to 55 miles per hour sporadically through the morning and afternoon and will make it very difficult to see if you happen to be out on the roads.

Since Sunday morning, we have received snow reports around two feet in a few corners of our area, and an official total of 17.1 inches in Green Bay. This marks the third most snow the city has ever seen in one day, with records going back to the late 1800s. We will keep you updated when the final snow totals emerge this afternoon if this storm will break more records.
Plan on moderate to heavy snow Monday morning through midday, with blowing and drifting likely as the winds will easily push around this new lighter, fluffy snowfall. Snow will lighten up and head out from west to east this afternoon, leaving the lakeshore at the end. New accumulations will be on the order of 6 to 12″, with a few isolated totals higher than that between the Fox Cities and Lake Michigan shoreline.
