(WFRV) – In its first state tournament appearance in 15 years, top-ranked Seymour delivered a statement performance, rolling past #4 St. Croix Central 67-49 in the Division 3 semifinal to advance to championship Saturday.
The Thunder stayed red-hot from the field, continuing a season-long trend. Seymour shot a Division 3 state-record 64.1% on Thursday, with Isaac Feske and Kyler Marks each pouring in 20 points.
Now 28-1, Seymour turns its focus to Saturday’s title game, where it will face #3 Racine St. Catherine’s (23-4) with a chance to capture the program’s fourth gold ball.
